The following strategies are just some of the ways we support out SEND learners:
- Embedded Quality First Teaching across all curriculums to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND;
- A dedicated SEND team, who were closely with the student and parents to outline the most appropriate support for your child;
- Termly SEND Reviews, in addition to standard Parent’s evenings;
- A Pupil Profile for each SEND student which documents support that is available to the child;
- A Learning Support Plan that outlines personal targets to help support the SEND learner;
- Behaviour and achievement tracking of SEND students;
- A dedicated inclusion space used to reintegrate students back into lessons;
- Time-out passes and toilet passes (where appropriate, and supported with a diagnosis);
- Additional time or support in assessments (with appropriate diagnosis).
