The following strategies are just some of the ways we support out SEND learners: 

  • Embedded Quality First Teaching across all curriculums to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND; 
  • A dedicated SEND team, who were closely with the student and parents to outline the most appropriate support for your child; 
  • Termly SEND Reviews, in addition to standard Parent’s evenings; 
  • A Pupil Profile for each SEND student which documents support that is available to the child; 
  • A Learning Support Plan that outlines personal targets to help support the SEND learner; 
  • Behaviour and achievement tracking of SEND students; 
  • A dedicated inclusion space used to reintegrate students back into lessons; 
  • Time-out passes and toilet passes (where appropriate, and supported with a diagnosis); 
  • Additional time or support in assessments (with appropriate diagnosis).
