The application process closes Thursday 31 October 2024.
‘Offer Day’ is Monday 3 March 2025. The deadline for accepting the place on Friday 14 March 2025.

Please note: At the request of the Local Authority Admissions Team, we are only able to contact you after 18 April 2025. Communication from our school will be via letter, email and text so please ensure you complete the below form at your earliest convenience. If you require a paper copy – this can be either collected from the school main office or posted to you at a request by phone 01914833199 or email office@hebburn.net.
If you have accepted a place, we would require you to complete and submit an admission form below. This webform provides information to the school regarding contact details, medical conditions and also permissions linked to use of pictures, trips etc. (The form will be placed on this page by 18 April 2025)
Please note the form must be completed in one go as the form will not be saved. This form will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes for you to complete. The form must be completed once per child entering the school.
Being a maintained school, admissions to Hebburn Comprehensive, at the normal point of transfer, are undertaken by South Tyneside Local Authority (link below). Outside of that time, parents are asked to make written applications to the Local Authority, whose staff will then liaise with the school. After applications have been received, we will make contact with parents and carers to discuss arrangements for admission mid-year. This will normally be done by Mrs Burdis, Assistant Head Teacher.
