Our school's contribution to the Relay for Life for cancer research has reached a phenomenal £2816.35! A huge thank you from Mrs Gomersall to everyone who took part in the relay at Monkton Stadium and to everyone who has made a donation.
On Friday 25 September, pupils in Year 8 held a cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising the fantastic sum of £212.
Well done to all who baked and helped out selling cakes and to everyone who made a donation.
A big thank you from all of Year 8 and Miss Hood.

Our students have performed exceptionally well this year, achieving the best results in the school’s history. This is a fantastic accomplishment given the demands of more rigorous league tables and increased challenge in GCSE examinations. In the all-important measure of 5 A*- C inclusive of English and Maths, we have reached 70% for the first time: a phenomenal achievement.
I am tremendously proud of everything this year group has achieved, and I congratulate them on their positive approach to learning and the high levels of commitment they demonstrated throughout Key Stage 4. We wish all students the very best of luck for whatever they decide to do in the future.
I would like to thank all parents and carers, as well as governors for their support, and I express my gratitude to a highly-committed staff who have invested a vast amount of time and energy into facilitating this record-breaking set of results.
WELL DONE TO THE CLASS OF 2015!
